Deputy President William Ruto has urged Kenyans to believe and worship in God and not witchcraft.

Ruto who was speaking in Nyeri County on Friday said it was good that many people worship God unlike ‘others’ who worship witchcraft.

He was speaking to a crowd at Wamagana grounds in Tetu constituency where he landed before proceeding to console the family of Chief of Staff and Head of the Civil Service Joseph Kinyua who lost his mother, Hannah Wanjiru.

“Nyinyi najua mnamwamini na munamuomba mungu sio kama wengine wanaabudu waganga (I know you people you believe and worship God, you are not like others who worship witchcraft),” he told Tetu residents.

Ruto said it was because of prayers that the ICC cases for President Uhuru Kenyatta and himself collapsed.
