Mikel Obi’s twin daughters – Mia and Ava – are growing faster than we can breathe!
Today, the proud dad took to his Instagram to share the first video of his daughter uttering her first words. From the clip, the 1-year-old adorable child repeated after the mum who asked her to pronounce the words “Apple” and “Octopus”.
Though the words rolled off her tongue in a childish babble, her words were quite clear. “Apu…octoputu,” she said.

This heartwarming video comes a month after John Mikel and Olga Diyachenko celebrated their 4th anniversary together. In her note shared on her Instagram, Olga revealed that she first met the Nigerian footballer when he visited her father. They went on dates a year later, and in September 2015, welcomed their twin daughters.
Now, Olga has moved with her daughters to China where Mikel is currently based, and the proud dad never fails to share their fun family times.
