No Secret Pact Between Buhari And Jonathan, Presidency Says

The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has said that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is free to probe former president Goodluck Jonathan.

According to Punch, Adesina said this on Friday.

Adesina said there was nothing that hindered the EFCC to investigate Jonathan, as there was no secret pact between President Muhammadu Buhari and him (Jonathan) to exclude the former leader from the list of those who are set to be probed over corruption.

This comes, as some prominent officials, among them Senate Leader, Ali Ndume called on Buhari to give a go ahead to the EFCC to investigate and prosecute Jonathan.
