Mzbel who was heavily criticized some years ago for saying she does not believe in Jesus Christ has spoken against Christianity in an interview with celebrity blogger Zionfelix.
Mzbel who was on the first episode of ‘Celebrity Ride’; a Youtube show hosted by Zionfelix has indicated that her views on Christianity have moved from the disbelief in Jesus Christ to the fact that Christianity is idol worship.
She said: “Me, I think it is idol worshipping because I wonder why people will put an image of a white man in their chapel and worship it. Some even have to picture the image in their minds while praying”.
Mzbel indicated that she said she does not believe in the Jesus Christ story because “I don’t believe that God will have to commit murder to save sinners. If God will forgive your sins she will”.
“I believe in God but I don’t believe we have to pray through Jesus through God. I don’t believe that Jesus is God. But from Sunday school, people have been taught about Jesus so it is difficult to change their mind,” she said indicating that she will never go back to that religion.
Mzbel said after not being content with Christianity, she tried other religions including Hare Krishna and realized it was also akin to paganism till she later met a Jewish teacher that took her through the old testament of the Bible.
According to her, the Old Testament is more applicable and realistic to science and human life.
She knows little of Christianity and Judaism if she thinks the two are mutually exclusive. Jesus’ death wasn’t GOD committing murder, HE was making a statement. As a Father, he would die for your preservation if HE could. HIS concept of civilization is worth dying for. You’re HIS children, any good father feels that way. That’s one thing that makes us in HIS image.
