Last week Thursday was a tough one in Makindye at Mowzey Radio’s vigil at his home, Neverland. The place was filled with Police and kanyama’s to direct people on where to seat and mourn their fallen star.
Things got out of hand at around midnight when Fik Fameica and his boys entered the premises. Unfortunately for Fik, it is around the same time that Weasel Manizo’s phone disappeared.
Chameleone acted in anger as he questioned everyone about Weasel’s phone. He even went to Fik Fameica and asked him to produce the phone as one of his boys had taken it.
Before long lows were exchanged as Chameleone’s boys attacked Fik’s boys fighting to find who took the phone.
Chameleone himself rained some punches on a few of Fik’s boys. In no time, Fik was down only to get up and run away.
The following day at the tribute concert in Kololo, Fik apologized for what happened and played it cool. He didn’t blame anyone.
He said; ‘I pray God strengthens Weasel and Mowzey Radio’s family. As a musician Radio was a big inspiration to be. I didn’t get enough time with him. I only talked to him once and he gave me some advice. Last night there was an incident at the vigil but what you are reading in the news is not true. No one beat me up. I love all artistes. I pray my fellow musicians protect themselves so that we don’t fade away.’
