According to recent legal documents, reality star Blac Chyna has been forced to sell her personal items in order to subsist financially as her legal fees from her custody battle with ex-Tyga mount.
Documents acquired by TMZ revealed Chyna’s financial difficulties in the midst of her alleged co-parenting conflicts with Tyga.
She has begged Tyga, 33, for financial help as they fight over their sole child, their 10-year-old son King.
According to the records, Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renée White, has been able to pay her bills by selling her apparel, purses, and shoes to friends and relatives as well as through an online consignment site.
Her sales have brought in $178k this year, which she has utilized to compensate for her declining business revenues. However, Chyna, 35, claims that it is simply a temporary solution because she will soon run out of stuff to sell.
Chyna, who is fighting Tyga for legal and physical custody of their baby, has stated that she requires financial support from her ex to fund her fight.
Tyga, according to Chyna, has also been delaying direct communication with her and other critical information.
She claims that the rapper refuses to speak with her directly and will not supply her with his contact information or the address where King resides.
Furthermore, she believes he has withheld critical information concerning their child’s health, safety, and welfare. She claims this includes their child’s school address and prescription information.
But sources connected to the situation have refuted several of Chyna’s claims.
According to TMZ, Chyna is aware of where her son resides. They also say Tyga has paid for their son’s private school tuition, medical costs, and the majority of their day-to-day living expenditures.
Chyna wants her ex to pay her $125,000 legal and accounting bills. She also wants court orders to establish a regular and predictable schedule for their son that Tyga cannot interfere with.
Chyna filed for joint custody and child support over King over the summer.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Chyna filed a petition to ‘determine parental relationship’ against Tyga.
She asked the court in a July 24 filing for joint legal and physical custody of their son to be split between his parents.
In the filing, Chyna included unknown details about King’s current living situation and stated what she believes needs to be done for the ‘best interest of the child.’
As for child support, the model’s filing states: ‘The court may make orders for support of the children and issue an earnings assignment without further notice to either party.’
The monetary details regarding how much child support Chyna requested were not made public.
Chyna dated Tyga for three years after meeting on the set of his music video Rack City in 2011. The exes welcomed their son, King Cairo Stevenson, in 2012, before calling it quits in 2014.
