Army Kills 2 Suspected Cattle Rustlers, Arrest 5 Wanted Bandits

The troops of 1 Division Nigerian Army have killed two suspected cattle rustlers and arrested five wanted bandits in the Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

This is part of intensified clearance operations against cattle rustlers and bandits in Kaduna and Zamfara States in the northwest.

The troops have destroyed several camps belonging to the cattle rustlers in the two states.

Army spokesperson, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said these had recently killed seven people in Bungudu.

Troops recovered arms and ammunitions from the suspects.
