According to Prince Nelson Enwerem, he merely committed to a two-week deal to be on Big Brother (BBNaija) All-Stars.
The BBNaija All-Stars program premiered on July 23 with 20 housemates and a N120 million cash prize.
On August 21, Prince and three other people were added as guest housemates.
They were, however, instructed to vacate the premises on September 3.
In a recent chat with journalists, Prince said the show organisers initially asked him to participate as a full-time housemate.
The reality star said he declined because “I had other priorities that are more important to me”.
Prince added that he only joined the show to “promote what I am working on right now; my record label”.
“I would have gone, but I had other priorities that I feel like right now are more important to me,” he said.
“Contract for going into the house was for two weeks. It was initially for two weeks to go as a house guest, but there was an option to elongate it at Big Brother’s discretion. Prior to our coming into the house, I had said to the producers that I did not want to take the option to activate that clause. If at any point they wanted to activate that clause, they should please not include me.
“The main reason why I initially declined and also the main reason why I accepted to come back to the show was to come and promote what I am working on right now. My record label. I opened a record label. That is why I decided to come back on the show to come and tell the world about it.”
