By time of publishing this story, the police had mounted search for two unknown people who drove Jamal’s body to Shalom Hospital using a silver Toyota Axio.
It is understood the unidentified suspects did not get to the hospital but returned and dumped the body at the crime scene, Ark Hotel in Mlolongo,when they realised Jamal was already dead.
The 39-year-old heartthrob was stabbed on the left side of his chest and relatives said the knife pierced through the vital internal organs. Patches of blood stained the car’s back seats, an evidence Jamal could have profusely bled to death while being rushed to the health centre.
In the meantime, his family led by Zubeida Rashid wants government agencies to hasten the probe and bring to book Jamal’s killers.
“This is a very sad news because he was still young and full of life. I received a call in the morning he had been stabbed by a woman and not even his enemy. It not fair, we appealing to the government to go after his killers. My brother was peace loving and quiet,” a sobbing Zubeida .
