Kenya’s richest female singer Akothee has announced that soon she will vie for president of Kenya.
Also known as Madam Boss, Akothee denounced plans to vie for other lower seats when a campaign poster with her image made rounds on social media, claiming she is vying for Migori Woman Representative.
“There is no way I will vie for a political seat soon. Not today, not tomorrow. Perhaps when I am 60 years old I will think of running for President of Kenya. And it can only be the presidency, not woman rep, MCA, senator or governor posts. They are too small for me,” said Akothee as quoted on Edaily on Thursday, May 4.
But before that, Akothee has other plans in mind before she breaks into politics. Apparently, the mother of five with a body that looks like it has never brought forth life wants to be forever young –maybe at heart.
“Right now, I just want to put on my bikinis and short dresses. I don’t have time to wear ties. Twerking is my area. Do I look like an MP in your area?” concluded Akothee.
Akothee comes from a family of politicians. Her mother recently attempted to defend her sea in the ODM nominations but lost. She is a sitting MCA as well as the Deputy Majority Leader in the Migori county assembly.
