A 30-year-old man stabbed his girlfriend to death over the weekend after she dumped him.
The girl, identified as Edinas Finalis, is said to have graduated from Kenyatta University last week.
Reports indicate that the two had been in an on and off relationship for sometime.
According to witnesses, the man invited the girl to his house on Sunday ‘to work things out’ but when she arrived, he attacked her with a knife.
The man then continued to drink with the corpse of the woman in the house until police came.
He attempted to commit suicide but police managed to arrest and escort him to Ruiru police station where he is currently being held.
