A Kenya Airways crew member has been arrested for smuggling gold in India.
25-year-old Teddy Mutuma Muthee was arrested at Hyatt Regency hotel in Andheri, Mumbai.
Further reports indicate that Muthee has been on the police radar over drug trafficking.
But when the anti-narcotics police nabbed him on Saturday night, he was found with 7.5 kg of gold bars worth Rs 2.25 crore (KES 34 million).
Kenya Airways has already confirmed the incident, The Star adds.
