Lagos – Prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has actually taken a new spouse 68 years after wedding his very first wife when he wed the daughter of late Senegalese Islamic scholar Sheikh Ibrahim Niasse, Naij records.
Sheikh Bauchi is also the deputy chairman Fatwa Committee of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs.
Bauchi married his first wife in 1948 and has 61 children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren
