President Uhuru Kenyatta has made his claim for the 2017 General Elections thanks to his appointment of former politicians to state positions.
The President has appointed former Bumula MP Bifwoli Wakoli to chair the Agricultural Development Cooperation a move that will be seen to win support from the western Kenya region as the 2017 polls near.
Bifwoli has been out of the public limelight in recent times and will be used to intensify the battle for votes in western Kenya.
The western Kenya bloc will be hotly contested come the polls, with the ruling Jubilee Coalition, the CORD Coalition and Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC all seeking a foothold in the region.
Bifwoli is happy to serve the people of Kenya and especially for the people of western Kenya who are agriculturally oriented.
” I will serve the people of Kenya to the best of my ability and thank the President for his show of faith,” he stated.
Bifwoli formerly shared the same side as the CORD Coalition but with the changes, will seek to win the ruling Coalition a number of votes in the region.
