Uncertainty remains regarding the arraignment of Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu for forgery as the two are expected to appear before a Code of Conduct tribunal on the same day, Punch reports.
Saraki and Ekweremadu are scheduled today to face charges of forgery in a Federal Capital Territory High Court even though he will be appearing before the tribunal as well.
Officials of the Ministry of Justice confirmed that the two accused would be appearing in court today.
More doubt though has been raised after court officials claimed that Saraki and his co-accused were not formally served with the charges preferred against them by the Federal Government.
The Senate according to reports, have sensationally accused President Muhammadu Buhari of plotting to remove Saraki and Ekweremadu.
