What Took Place In President Uhuru Meeting With CORD Leader Raila Odinga

CORD Co Principal Moses Wetangula admits that the issue of dialogue as regards the IEBC did not take place in a visit to State House.

” The President refused to speak about IEBC,” he told News24.

Wetang’ula says that there will be a continued clamour for talks to solve the IEBC stalemate but that they must do so in the manner CORD wants.

” We cannot go to Parliament. I think that boat has already sailed,” he added.

There was belief that there would be talks with the President over the IEBC when the two CORD principals met President Kenyatta and DP Ruto last week but that has not gone as planned.

The President insists that the IEBC matter must be dealt with in Parliament.
