The Orange Democratic Movement has claimed that interior CS Joseph Nkaiserry has ordered the police to shoot and kill CORD protesters during the anti IEBC protests.
ODM Nakuru branch chairman Dennis Okomol said that Nkaiseriry has directed police to use live bullets and as target CORD leaders and supporters during protests.
Speaking Monday in Nakuru town, Okomol said that the police have identified and mapped certain CORD leaders and supporters who they want to eliminate.
“We know that Nkaiserry has directed the police to use excessive force including live bullets during the protests and they have instructions to target certain leaders and protesters that have been identified as stubborn,”said Okomol.
“Nkaiserry has ordered police to shoot and kill people during protests as a way of scaring away CORD supporters but we want to dare them to try and kill one person and we will show them what we are made of,” he said.
During the Monday protests it was rumoured that CORD leader Raila Odinga’s car was shot at using a live bullet, something the police department has dismissed.
