Former President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Peter Esele has joined the Edo State governorship race.
He would be vying for the post under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Esese, who is also a former President of PENGASSAN, said he joined the Edo 2016 governorship race on the grounds of his qualification, experience, acquired skill and having the solution to what was lacking.
He denied any acrimony between him and the state Governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
He attributed the purported rancour as the handiwork of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Esele promised to build on the giant strides made by the previous governments in the state.
