ODM party leader, Raila Odinga has been asked to punish party MPs who attended the Jubilee thanksgiving prayer rally at Afraha stadium on Saturday.
Nakuru ODM branch chairman, Peter Ile Osono said that the three ODM MPs who attended the rally are betrayers and should be seriously dealt with.
Talking in his office on Monday, Osono said that MPs Ken Obura (Kisumu central), James Rege (Karachuonyo) and John Waluke (Sirisia) betrayed the party and showed disrespect for the party leader.
Osono asked Raila to punish the MPs and send them out of the party nominations in 2017.
“The MPs who were at Afraha showed disrespect for the party leader and thus he should punish them. The three MPs have shown that they don’t value our party and should be made to explain why they should not be expelled from the party,” said Osono.
“These kind of MPs are the ones who wil make it hard for Raila to clinch the presidency and he should show them the door before 2017,” he said.
The three were among CORD coalition members who were present at Afraha during the Jubilee thanksgiving prayer rally on Saturday.
They have in the past been accused of being Jubilee moles.
