A man has stabbed his girlfriend to death after a domestic squabble in a Nairobi slum.
The man, who Police named as James Kariuki of Mukuru wa Njenga slums stabbed his girlfriend Charity to death in their shanty house in the wee hours of Thursday morning.
The man is at large.
” We are chasing a man who has stabbed his girlfriend to death in Mukuru Nairobi,” Police boss Japheth Koome told News24.
It is understood that the two have been arguing for a while now.
The man, according to neighbours had become frustrated that the woman had refused to become pregnant despite their long-standing relationship.
The body of the woman was taken to the Nairobi City Mortuary.
