Woman Kills 3-Year-Old Daughter To Keep Her House-Help Job

A 21-year-old woman in Kisii County killed her daughter in order to keep her house-help job in Nairobi.

The woman had just returned the baby home after her employer at Umoja Estate in Nairobi said she could not work efficiently with the baby.

But back home, her relatives refused to stay with the 3-year-old girl forcing her to resort to murder.

According to Standard, she drowned the 3-year-old daughter at River Iyabe on Monday morning.

Relatives who became suspicious of her hurried move to go back to Nairobi after the baby went missing reported the matter to area chief who arrested her.

This is not the first time that a family feud ended in a murder.

Last month, a 40-year-old man in the same County was reportedly sentenced to 200 years in prison for killing his four children following a disagreement with his wife.
