Police Impound Bhang Worth KES1 Million At A House In Kirinyaga

Police have impounded bhang worth more than KES 1 million at Gatuto village in Kirinyaga Central Sub-County.

The County Administration Police Commander, Zachayo Mbugua has confirmed the incident, saying police have arrested the suspect identified as David Mutugi with 1,200 stones of bhang.

“The officers raided the Mutugi’s home following a tip-off from members of the public, where they recovered the bhang,” he explained.

He added that the suspect was escorted to Kerugoya police station awaiting trial.
