Kalonzo Criticizes CORD MPs For Heckling Uhuru

CORD co principal Kalonzo Musyoka has criticized opposition MPs who heckled President Uhuru Kenyatta during his State of the Nation Address.

The MPs, drawn largely from the ODM wing of the coalition, used whistles and shouted down the President as he begun his speech Thursday at Parliament buildings.

Despite the noise, the President continued to speak and his demeanour left Kalonzo having to offer an apology.

” The lack of decorum in the house is despicable. Never again should this happen,” he stated.

CORD leader Raila Odinga was yet to comment on the matter.

After the MPs quieted down, the President continued with his speech and delivered what he believes to be his goals for the remainder of his Presidency, with the 2017 General Elections nearing.
