An angry CORD leader Raila Odinga lectured CORD officials for over an hour over the manner in which the Okoa Kenya referendum collapsed.
Raila, who was alerted of the serious mistakes in the signature collection process was reportedly in no mood for jokes and lectured the Okoa Kenya organizrs for letting him and the Coalition down.
This is after glaring mistakes were seen in the referendum signature roster some of which were avoidable.
Despite believing that the Jubilee government still tried its best to kill the referendum, he was well aware of the grave mistakes committed.
” The Coalition leader was not happy at all. He said that some people were out to embarrass him,” an official who is close to the CORD leader and top party brass told News24.
Raila is said to have held a crisis meeting once the IEBC announced the Okoa Kenya failure and asked for a swift report over the fiasco.
In private, hge is understood to be wary of internal sabotage of the process.
” No one is happy. This is a big blow to the Coalition,” the source continued.
