A plane crash in the Samburu National Reserve in northern Kenya on Monday, has killed two French nationals.
Kenyan Police say the two were killed while filming.
The two men have been identified as Pierre Creisson, aged 53, and Thierry Barbier, 56.
I can confirm two French men who were filmmakers died in the morning in a plane crash. Their bodies were recovered from the plane wreckage.
Police said the crash took place some 90 miles north of Nairobi.
“I can confirm two French men who were filmmakers died in the morning in a plane crash. Their bodies were recovered from the plane wreckage after it crashed,” police spokesman, Jared Ojuk, said.
Pierre Creisson was a television journalist. He was famous for having been incarcerated for almost a month in Niger between December 2007 and January 2008, along with another journalist Thomas Dandois.
Thierry Barbier flew over 87 countries aboard his ULM aircraft.
Their bodies are expected to be flown to the capital, Nairobi.
