Abuja – The Department of State Services (DSS) has released the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Victor Umeh,
Umeh was arrested on Thursday for his alleged sponsorship of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB).
He was arrested at his Enugu residence and taken to Abuja by road.
Umeh was release on Friday morning after he was quizzed for hours by operatives of DSS.
Media Assistant to Umeh, Stan Okeke has confirmed the release of his boss.
He said his boss is expected back in Enugu by noon.
