Lagos – A driver lost control of their vehicle in Upper Iweka, Onitsha, Anambra State and collided with another vehicle causing the death of two people and seven additional people to be injured, Vanguard reports.
Isa Abubakar, Divisional Police Officer in charge of Central Police State, confirmed that the accident took place and those that died were taken to the mortuary, and the injured persons were taken to the hospital.
According to the police, the amount of deaths would have been more if it was not for the pavement at Asaba Park which prevented the car from driving into vehicles.
