Middelburg – A teenage boy was stabbed on his way to school on Monday morning, paramedics said.The 16-year-old sustained multiple stab wounds while walking to school on Springbok Avenue in Middelburg in Mpumalanga.
“ER24 paramedics were alerted to the incident and immediately responded to the high school. On arrival, they found the young patient sitting with one of the school teachers,” spokesperson Russel Meiring said in a statement.
“Paramedics assessed the patient and found that he had sustained stab wounds to his arms and back. Paramedics treated the patient for his injuries and provided him with advanced life support interventions.”
He was transported to Midmed hospital for urgent treatment.
