ANC supporters call DA spokesperson a ‘bitch’

(Amanda Khoza, News24)
Nkandla – DA spokesperson Phumzile van Damme on Wednesday claimed that a crowd of ANC supporters outside President Jacob Zuma’s Nkandla home called her a “bitch” in Zulu.

“We were walking past and one of the people called me ‘isifebe’, a bitch,” she told News24.

“It’s offensive. There is nothing wrong with light political banter but it should not be insulting…”

Earlier, DA leader Mmusi Maimane’s spokesperson, Mabine Seabe, tweeted: “#Nkandla ANC crowd call @zilevandamme ‘isifebe’. SMH!”
