Cape Town – An elderly couple was critically injured in a shooting on their farm on Sunday afternoon.Their alleged attackers are still on the loose.
Two men gained entrance to the Brakdam farm in Vrede around 13:00, Constable Maselela Langa told News24.
“According to our preliminary investigations, we know that one of them was an ex-employee on the farm. They have not been arrested, but at least we have this lead.”
Langa said the couple, in their seventies, was in a stable condition in hospital. They were not yet in a state to tell police what had happened.
