Three men arrested over robbery with violence have actually left the Isiolo GK jail where they were being held waiting for trial.
The County jail Commander, Ibrahim Hassan stated that the suspects ran away via an air flow opening in the cell-room at around 4.30 am.
He noted that the trio remandees damaged the air flow whereby they got away quietly.
“The gatekeeper reacted by shooting however it was rainy greatly which provided the 3 the freedom to get away,” Hassan included.
He mentioned that 2 jail warders that were on duty during the incident have been suspended as investigations starts.
