19 residents were feared killed when gunmen invaded Okogbe community in Ahoada-West local government area of Rivers state, Daily Postreports.
The gunmen were said to have to stormed the community following the the murder of one Ngozi Obenne by yet-to-identified gunmen at about 4am on Monday.
The killing sparked a reprisal attack by gunmen who went about Okogbe community shooting at everybody within sight.
The violence forced the residents to flee their homes for safety.
The Rivers police is yet to comment on the development according to Naij.
