19 African Migrants Arrested in Libya as Police Raid House Allegedly Used for Pr0stitution

Police have arrested 19 African migrants over alleged involvement in pro-stitution in Benghazi, Libya.


The undocumented migrants comprising seven men and eight women were arrested when police raided an apartment located in a three-storey building on Mahdawi Street on Saturday, April 29, 2023. 


“Police in Benghazi raided a house rented by Nigerian migrants and used for pro-stitution. During the operation 19 undocumented migrants (male 7 & female 12) of different nationalities were arrested. All transferred to the Benghazi Security Directorate for legal action.” the report reads.
