Zimbabwe’s Sacked Vice President Flees Over ‘Mugabe Threat’

Zimbabwe’s ex-vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa says he has crossed the border to South Africa, two days after being fired by President Robert Mugabe for being “disloyal”.

Mnangagwa said in a statement that he left because he and his family were threatened by Mugabe, but claimed that he will return to Zimbabwe soon.
