“Your Self Esteem Issues Has Nothing To Do With Nigerians” – Actress, Yvonne Jegede Slams Ugandans

Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede has taken to social media to share her experience on a movie set in Uganda, following the arrest of Nigerian singers, Omah Lay and Tems in the East-African country.

Although the artists have been released from Ugandan prison, the mother of one still aired her perception about the citizens.

Yvonne stated that Ugandans are of the notion that Nigerians are generally proud, as they always take the opportunity to input it in every sentence. According to her, she was labelled proud after she said didn’t know any Ugandan artiste.

She further noted that Ugandans’ self esteem issues, have nothing to do with Nigerians.

Yvonne tweeted,

“I was in #Uganda in 2013 to shoot a film, after every sentence came “you Nigerians are very proud”, even when I said I didn’t know any Ugandan artist I was labeled proud. I am proud of where I come from, your self esteem issues has nothing to do with Nigerians
