UPDATE: Idris Elba Denies Reports That He And His Wife Welcomed Their First Child

Idris Elba has denied reports that he and his wife Sabrina Dhowre have welcomed their first child together.

The British actor set tongues wagging when he was quoted to have said he is a father of ‘two boys’ in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada.

Taking to Twitter to react to the said interview, the Luther actor, 48, denied the report, writing: ‘Sab @Sabrinadhowre and I thank you for all the congratulations but we haven’t had a baby.. .. that’s not true.  Don’t believe everything you read. Stay safe.’
