A terrified post by South African artist Karlien van Jaarsveld on Tuesday night had a glad completion when her two children attempted to have been missing was found presently.
“We can’t discover my children. Derick is tanked; we don’t know where the kids are please! This is what they look like, it would be ideal if you help to seek!” she posted in Afrikaans on Instagram, alongside a photograph of the two blonde young men, grinning and wearing Christmas caps.
A brief time later, she posted: “ONS HET HULLE GEKRY!!!! Dankie aan kick the bucket polisie en almal wat gehelp het en gebid het,” trailed by a whirlwind of emojis.
The neighborhood artist is separated from previous Springbok Derick Hougaard, the dad of her twin children. She a year ago hitched previous rugby player Joe Breytenbach.
Hougaard, thus, posted a photograph of him situated at a table, with two youngsters dozing alongside him on two separate lounge chairs.
“Apparently there is chaos about my children who were ‘gone’ while they slept safely next to their daddy tonight. It was before Karlien’s mom came and grabbed them.”
Our correspondent contacted Van Jaarsveld’s mother and agent, Ronel Brink, who confirmed that “we found them ourselves”.
She said her daughter would decide what information she would share with the press on Wednesday.
