In a heartfelt Instagram post, Rachel Kolisi spoke about the psychological toll of self-isolating away from her young children, saying: “It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve experienced as a parent.”
The health and fitness influencer said on Sunday that she tested positive for Covid-19.
“Loving them through a window has been excruciating,” Rachel captioned a photo on Instagram.

“Every time they hurt themselves and my immediate reaction has been to get up and go to them then I realize I can’t leave the room. And the days they’ve stood outside begging me to touch, kiss and hold them because they don’t understand,” she wrote about the experience being away from her family.
About her physical wellbeing, Rachel said that she is “doing well,” however she is still experiencing chest symptoms.
“…grateful when [having] time outside in the fresh air – the small things I usually take for granted,” she wrote.
