Controversial businessman Jacob Juma knew he was about to die but implicated some prominent politicians over the murder.
Juma, assassinated in cold blood in Nairobi Thursday night had accumulated a long list of enemies thanks to his outspoken nature and lack of respect for big names.
Among them was apparently Deputy President William Ruto.
Juma accused the DP of plotting to kill him in a post on Twitter, saying he had unravelled enough dirt on the DP.
” If there is one man who wants to kill me it is Ruto. He wants me dead,” he said in an earlier post.
In the wake of his murder, Kenyans placed emphasis on the tweet but the DP’s office was not willing to comment on the matter.
” That is not a matter that will be commented on in an official capacity,” the DP’s office said in a statement Friday.
Juma’s death has caused social media uproar with Kenyans asking for answers over his murder.
