Rob and Big Star Christopher ”Big Black” Boykin died Tuesday morning at the age of 45. TMZ, broke the news about an hour ago. PEOPLE confirmed that the reality star died of a heart attack early Tuesday morning.
“MTV is deeply saddened to learn the news of Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin’s passing,” MTV wrote in a statement.
“He was a long time and beloved member of the MTV family and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this time.”
Big Black rose to fame as the bodyguard of professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek’s on the wildly popular Rob and Big Star series, which ran for three seasons from 2006-2008.
They broke a lot of Guinness world records, on the show.May his soul rest in peace.
