President Uhuru Kenyatta scolded Jubilee MPs for their support of some CORD initiatives, warning them of dire consequences if they continue to do so.
The President met the MPs Thursday morning at a Nairobi hotel and complained openly of the MPs move to stall budgetary talks due to an issue they had with the Constituency Development Fund CDF allocation.
He told them that he would lose patience if they continued to support the initiative by CORD to frustrate the budget.
” There is no way you can sabotage the government and be on the same side with CORD,” he told the MPs.
The MPs later on in the afternoon headed to Parliament and supported the budgetary talks by passing a number of motions.
The President has lately been on the offensive over what he says are attempts to frustrate the government and its operations.
