Nigeria’s Omoyemi Akerele Covers Guardian Life Magazine

Omoyemi Akerele has two law degrees, is starting a third, and contemplating a PhD. She worked as a stylist and started a PR agency before eventually starting Lagos Fashion Week and Style House Files.

In just 15 years, she has gone from having a budding career in law to becoming one of the renowned pioneers in the Nigerian fashion industry. For her cover feature, she talks to Guardian Life about her career, and how she uses her platforms to help develop the industry.
