Nigeria’s Ayra Starr Misses Show Featuring ASAP Rocky, Busta Rhymes Over Ill Health

Ayra Starr, a Mavin Records artist, missed her three-city US tour due to illness.

On Sunday, the music sensation was scheduled to headline the Industry Night Show in Houston.

She was also scheduled to play at Virginia City’s Something In The Water concert.

The program was supposed to feature ASAP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, and a slew of other American celebrities.

Ayra Starr claimed in a statement on Sunday night that her doctor had ordered her to be on bed rest immediately.

She apologised to fans over her inability to meet her stage performance obligations.

The singer reassured the public that she looks to make a special comeback when she recovers.

Her statement reads: “DC, VA & Houston, your girl is going through it.

“My doctor has advised I slow down, hence I’m on immediate bed rest.

“So sorry I couldn’t meet every one of you as planned.

“I’m also sorry you feel let down but I promise to be back in a special way for you when we’ll have a magical time.

“I appreciate your prayers and well wishes.”
