For the first time in a long time, Nigerians have snubbed a planned protest by the National Labour Congress (NLC), opting to go about their daily business as usual.
The NLC alongside the Trade Unions Congress (TUC) and the Joint Action Force (JAF) have decided to go ahead with a nationwide strike on Wednesday against the increase in fuel pump price. This despite a court interdict that was filed against the industrial action on Tuesday.
Nigerians have remains uninterested in all the fuss, however, with scores of citizens going out to work despite impending road blocks and possible civil unrest.
