Abuja – The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubabr, has accused Nigerian politicians of stirring ethnic violence and war in the country, Daily Postreported.
The traditional ruler observed that some politicians are the ones causing the unrest and those religious differences could not only be the only reason behind the war.
He was stating such while delivering a lecture on Traditional and Religious Institutions in Nigeria, in Abuja.
The major religious crisis in the country could be easily avoided if politicians were not the drivers behind it as they have great influence onto the people stated the traditional ruler.
