Gunmen on motorbikes invaded and killed 13 farmers who were busy clearing their farms in preparations for oncoming season farming in Magama village, Dan- Sadau town and ‘YarTsaba of Maru local government council in Zamfara State.
The gunmen numbering about 23 arbitrarily shot at the farmers.
The attack took place on Monday afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses who all narrowly escaped, the gunmen opened fire at them and later sped off.
