In a country like Nigeria, judging a book by its cover is basically what most people do. A person with a tattoo is considered wild and uncultured and for the men who keep their hair, they are looked at as irresponsible.
MTV Base’s VJ Ehiz certainly knows a few things about this and has taken to social media to share one of his recent experience. He took to his insta-story to call out the Nigerian Immigration Service over the rude manner their staff attend to him simply because of his dreads.
According to VJ Ehiz, his passport renewal was delayed because the staff had an issue with his dreadlocks. He further that the lady he met at the office didn’t process his details after 5 working days and he got his passport after 2 weeks.
He further revealed that the woman was not apologetic about what she had done and went on to blame him for keeping such an irresponsible look.
