Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, a singer from Ghana, is attempting to shatter the record for the longest individual singing marathon.
Afua has been singing Ghanaian songs back-to-back at the Akwaaba community in an effort to surpass the Guinness world record held by Sunil Waghmare, an Indian who sang for 105 hours in March 2012.
Afua is scheduled to conclude her voyage on December 27, having begun at midnight on December 24. This implies that she will be singing continuously for four days and nine hours.
