For the better part of June and July this year, word went out that controversial gospel singer Willy Paul and fast-rising Tanzanian singer Nandy were an item, after photos showing them in a compromising situation leaked.
Well, Willy Paul has come out to set the record straight on the dating rumours.
Speaking in an interview, the singer who was on a media tour to promote his latest song ‘Sikireti’, which he features Jamaican singer Ce’ Cile said they were just like a brother and sister.
He also revealed that through Nandy, he was able to penetrate bongo market despite setbacks from a group of people who never wanted him to enter the Tanzanian market.
“Kuna a group people that walikuwa wananizuia kuingia Tanzania but then God akaleta Nandy through na tukafanya song. Sahii inaelekea 10 million views so tunashukuru mungu sana kwa Njiwa. Other than that, hakuna kitu inaendelea kati yangu na yeye. Mimi na yeye ni kama ndugu na dada,” disclosed Willy Paul.
Willy Paul and Nandy collaborated in the song ‘Njiwa’ which was received well by both the Kenyan and the Tanzanian markets.
