Gospel singer Kevin Bahati’s spouse Diana Marua has opened up about being trolled for dating Bahati, who is more youthful than her.
Speaking in an interview, Diana disclosed that she used to get annoyed when individuals alluded to her as Bahati’s anuty however she is used to it now.
“I am only 2 years older than Bahati. In the beginning, it used to get to me but what matters right now is how he takes care of me. He makes me comfortable. He is the head of the house regardless of my age, I respect that boundary. I respect him as a husband,” she explained.
In an earlier interview, disclosed that all he wanted was to date somebody older and mature as they are easier to handle.
He also clarified that Diana is barely two years older than him saying then 10-year age difference making rounds on social media is incorrect.
“I’m proud of my wife’s age, I always wanted an older woman, I matured up at the age of 12, growing up in the ghetto and I knew I’d want a woman who wouldn’t stress me out,” Bahati said at the time.
The two welcomed their first baby together, Heaven, in February this year.
